Most chest harnesses have a weak point: plastic. Plastic buckles crack in the cold, degrade in the sun, and snap when your gear gets dropped, dragged, or stepped on. So we removed it entirely.
The Arbo Space Full Metal SRT Chest Harness is built with 100% aluminum hardware. Where other harnesses use plastic side-release buckles, we use twin aluminum mini carabiners on each side — fast to clip, easy to operate with gloves, and built to take the abuse of daily production climbing. Even the adjustment hardware is aluminum, so every load-bearing and adjustment point on this harness is metal.
Designed for SRT (stationary rope technique) climbing, the harness keeps your chest ascender or rope wrench tether positioned high and centered via the aluminum ring at the sternum, improving your posture and efficiency on ascent. The elasticated center strap moves with you, while the Y-back webbing design distributes load comfortably without restricting shoulder movement.
